intacs™ as the organization responsible for ensuring the assessor qualification has dealt with all necessary aspects and limitations in times of Corona and has taken extensive measures. Bernhard Sechser, our Process Fellow member of the intacs™ Advisory Board, has summarized the most important information for you.

SGS-TÜV Saar and Process Fellows have agreed on an extensive cooperation in the area of product development according to Automotive SPICE® and Functional Safety, thus reacting to the growing customer demand.

Remote assessments were long considered an unsuitable alternative and were not even accepted by many of our customers . However, the current situation now makes it necessary to be flexible here as well. The Guideline for Remote Process Assessments, which was recently published by intacs, should be taken into account when planning and carrying out the assessments.

It is essential for every company in the development environment that its employees always remain up-to-date with the latest technology and become familiar with the current methods, tools and working practices so that they can use them efficiently in their own projects. Especially in the embedded environment, numerous training courses are offered, starting with a systematic requirements elicitation, structured system and software architectures, and ending with the necessary testing and other verification measures. The accompanying processes such as project management or quality assurance also play an extremely important role.

After positive feedback on the 1st ASQF Net Week, the next one is already planned.
Process Fellows will again participate in the webinar week, which takes place from May 4-8, 2020, with 2 contributions.

We congratulate our Process Fellow Horst Kostal for the “Top Speaker Award 2019” at the ESE Congress for his presentation “When really everything is new! Development of the world’s first mirror replacement system up to production readiness”.

This year, various podcasts on software development and Automotive SPICE® were created in cooperation with Matrickz GmbH.

The Chinese SPICE Network organized the 3rd CSN Conference in regards of quality, automotive software-based system, safety and security. Target participants were Automotive SPICE® Assessors, Process Experts and Quality Managers from automotive industry. After 30 participants in 2017 and 120 participants in 2018, this year nearly 200 people from Germany, Japan, Korea and China took part.

At this year’s safetronic.2019 conference Process Fellows will be represented with an exhibition stand from 5-6 November 2019 in Stuttgart, Germany.
